PASTOR EMILIENNE JEAN MARIE
FOOD DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR
I was born in Haiti and have lived in multiple countries and regions across the United States. My life journey has taken many turns, and through it all, God has shaped my heart for service and compassion for people from all walks of life.
MY STORY
I have endured significant challenges, including experiencing homelessness myself. Those seasons deeply shaped my understanding of what it means to need help, hope, and dignity. In the midst of adversity, I was blessed with the opportunity to pursue theological education through a scholarship at New York Theological Seminary, where I received my degree in June 2018.
In June 2020, I founded the Jesus Christ Foundation with a mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ while actively serving those experiencing homelessness in the Tampa area. Through this ministry, I have had the privilege of providing hot meals, clothing, toiletries, Bibles, street outreach, Sunday services, and soup kitchen programs—meeting both spiritual and physical needs within the community.
My life and work are guided by Matthew 20:28: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” As Food Distribution Coordinator, I am honored to serve with compassion, humility, and love, helping ensure that every person we reach is met with care, nourishment, and the hope of Christ.
